Day 210 - Toasted Sesame Flatbreads

So, sometimes I just want something crunchy and somewhat salty ... without eating something that is totally horrible for me.   With the Adrenal Glands deficiency that I have, sometimes I need salt, and am even told to put some salt in my water ... and I also have low blood pressure ... so I totally 'get it' that sometimes I do indeed need something salty.

Anyway - I found these little gems at the supermarket.  They are toasted sesame flatbreads - - kinda like crackers.  They are pretty darn good.  I must confess, they are even better with a smidgen of natural peanut butter.

Meanwhile - hope you had a happy Thursday.  My husband is off tomorrow - - so I am excited about that.  All kids at school and hubby home to myself.  Oooh the possibilities.   And on that note - goodnight!

Day 204 - Whole Wheat Ritz Crackers

Okay, okay - mama is going to have to be a little careful with these, because they are quite heavenly.  Yes, I have a small weakness for Ritz crackers, but have been trying to avoid them - but now I have tried Whole Wheat Ritz Crackers, and they are completely yumm-o.  I really cannot even taste or tell the difference, honestly.  I know they are still not all that healthy - no worries - not going to go overboard or anything.

Hope you had a good Friday and did not overdraw your bank account or max out your credit cards.  As for me, It'll be a cash-n-carry Christmas for us!  Nothing on credit.

Day 169 - Japanese Rice Crackers (Organic)

So, I tried a sample of something at Kroger today - it was in the 'Organic' Health Food area.  I was looking for supplements and other kinds of things - and decided to take them up on a sample.  This stuff is $10.99 a pound, so I am not sure I would ever buy it - but it wasn't bad.  Notice the ingredients include seaweed, and I have been hearing a lot of good things about seaweed.  Not totally in love with these weird crackers, but not bad at all.

Meanwhile, my 7 yr old son told me I need to learn how to make healthy candy corn.  UM, somehow I don't see THAT happening! :)
